All in-person services (acupuncture, formulas, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, moxibustion therapy, electro-acupuncture, nutritional consultations, nutritional supplements and lifestyle recommendations) are available to those who meet the screening criteria.

Located within walking distance from UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center and Providence Saint John’s Health Center. We offer acupuncture packages and will try to bill most insurances.  Contact us with questions or to have your insurance verified.   

Ashley Lydia Wren (she/her or they/them), is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with ten years clinical experience serving the greater Los Angeles area.  Ashley is also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist who is earning clinical hours as a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counselor, as well as completing Doctoral-level education and clinical hours in Healthy Aging  at Yo San University.  Ashley’s passion is helping folx on the recovery journey, particularly the LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC communities, and she strives to provide Trauma Informed Care with cultural competency to folx with SUD and/or Co-Occurring Disorders.  With personal experience in recovery, she walks the walk, yet knows that each person’s path to recovery is unique and always evolving. 

Ashley has worked in higher education as a Professor in the Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine departments for the Masters program at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2014. They were assistant Dean from 2017 to 2019.  They supervised an externship at Wise and Healthy Aging West until March 2020, have experience treating at Venice Family Clinic in Santa Monica, and are currently completing hours at Yo San Blount Community Clinic in Los Angeles.  Ashley volunteered as a board member for Peer Action 4 Change, a non-profit organization for mental health advocacy, from 2018 to 2021.  She is certified in NADA and recently began providing acupuncture to young adults in transitional housing at Covenant House CA as of August 2023.
