What are “virtual visits” anyways?
Announcing the newest service from Ashley Wren Acupuncture – Virtual Visits. An online, fully comprehensive treatment for when coming into the office isn’t an ideal option.
My approach to care has always focused on treating the whole person, and not just the symptoms. While my office slowly and methodically worked through enhanced standards and procedures towards reopening for in-person treatments, we also developed creative solutions to fully support your health and well-being from home.
Virtual Visit sessions are online or over the phone using a secure platform, safe and confidential one-on-one appointments with the same completely customized philosophy as my office visits. Everything we need for your Virtual Visit will either be available online or can be delivered directly to your door and available for contact-less pickup.
Depending on your issue and previous treatment strategies, your care package might include an herbal formula, pain plasters and acupressure recommendations that when properly practiced have the same healing potential as in-person treatments. I will, of course, provide very clear instructions and each package will be individually curated to help you along with your present challenges.
How does this treatment option work?
- Schedule your appointment and fill out the associated forms
- Email or call if you need to reschedule/cancel or to ask any questions you may have
- VENMO the cost of the virtual session to @Ashley-Wren-Acupuncture
- Log on for your private, secure video appointment
- We’ll have a virtual session where I will ask you questions and look at your tongue
- I’ll create your “Virtual Visit Care Package”
- If herbs or supplies are needed, you let me know where you’d like the delivery of your care package to go to
- Feel better!
Just like in the office, we’ll start by discussing your concerns and issues. I’ll take a look at your tongue and then will guide you through the proper use and placement of the recommended techniques and materials of your care kit. We’ll wrap up our video chat with advice on next steps, how long you can “wear” your treatment and any necessary updates to your herbal formulas or treatment plan.
Virtual Visit appointments are $75 for New Patients (60 minutes) and $60 for follow-ups (45 minutes), including your customized care package. The cost of compounded herbs, plasters or ear seeds are additional.
